DISTRICT GOALS PRESENTATION
Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Matthew J. Block, presented the 2023-2024 District Goals at the Board of Education meeting on October 10, 2023. Developed jointly between the administration and the Board of Education, the 2023-2024 District Goals are the areas that LPS wants to highlight and prioritize this school year. They are aligned with the 2022-2027 Strategic Plan.

BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING: Oct. 17, 2023 (7PM)
The Livingston Board of Education will hold a public meeting at 7PM tonight, Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Central Office, 11 Foxcroft Drive.
Tonight's meeting will be held in a hybrid format during which participants will have the ability to ask questions and make comments either in person or via the webinar. The district has been pro-actively planning for the future in many ways, including closely monitoring enrollment, commissioning a demographic study, working collaboratively with Township of Livingston officials, and establishing a Long Range Facility Planning Committee.

A MONTH OF AWARENESS
In October, Livingston Public Schools joins districts statewide to honor The Week of Respect and School Violence Awareness Week! Our programs will highlight our continued focus and dedication to teaching acceptance, anti-racism, kindness and respect in order to foster positive and safe school environments.

LPS is proud to present a series of workshops to help parents/caregivers support their children's academic and social-emotional wellbeing.

LISTEN TO CHILDREN PROGRAM
LPS partners with Jewish Family Services of MetroWest for the Listen to Children Program. This is a great program where students are able to have additional time connecting and talking with a trusted and caring adult, during the school day, at their school.
Parents are encouraged to contact your child's School Counselor if you are interested in your child participating in the Listen to Children program or to learn more information.

LACD & SYLS HALLOWEEN PARTY

The Livingston Advisory Committee for Disabilities (LACD) and Senior Youth and Leisure Services (SYLS) are excited to announce that they are bringing back their annual Halloween Party for children and adults with special needs!
This FREE event will take place at the Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue, on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 1-2:30 pm. Guests will be treated to food, beverages, dancing to a deejay, and an arts and crafts program. Guests are encouraged, but not required, to wear a costume. It is kindly requested that those who attend the event bring a dessert.
