Principal Message
Happy New Year and welcome back to school! We hope you had a restful and joyous holiday season filled with special moments with loved ones. As we begin the new year, we’re excited to continue our journey of learning, growth, and community together.
January brings new opportunities to set goals, embrace challenges, and celebrate our successes as a school. This semester, we will dive into exciting lessons and engaging activities that inspire curiosity and creativity. Our teachers are ready to guide and support each student as they strive to reach their full potential.
Let’s remember that our strength as a school lies in working together as one community. Families, your involvement and encouragement play a vital role in your child's success, and we are grateful for your partnership. Let’s keep our focus on kindness, determination, and resilience as we work toward making this a truly remarkable year.
We’re so glad to have you back and can’t wait to see all the wonderful things our Dalmatians will accomplish this semester!
Let’s make it a great start to the year!

Counselor Corner
Every child has the potential to thrive, but staying motivated can sometimes be a struggle. By creating a supportive environment and nurturing their confidence, parents can inspire their children to embrace challenges and enjoy the learning journey.
January 9-10
Keeping kids motivated can feel like a challenge, but with small, intentional steps, parents can inspire their children to reach their potential. Start by fostering a growth mindset. Let your child know that mistakes are part of learning, and encourage them to embrace challenges. Praise their effort rather than focusing on outcomes, and remind them that improvement comes with persistence. To keep them moving forward, set small, achievable goals and celebrate their progress with rewards like stickers or extra playtime. Breaking big tasks into manageable steps can also help them feel more confident and less overwhelmed.

Rainy Day Dismissal
Rainy Day dismissal pertains only to those families whose children walk or ride a bike to school each day. Each parent of a child who walks or rides a bike is required to notify the homeroom teacher of a Rainy-Day alternative plan. At 2:45 p.m. a Blackboard Connect notice will be sent to parents informing the community of a Rainy-Day Dismissal. Walkers/bikers will either become a car rider or remain a walker. If your child remains a walker, he/she will meet you at the normal pick-up location.
Parents are not permitted to come to the building doors or encroach on the campus sidewalks to get their children in the rain. This can lead to an unsafe dismissal. All other students going home on buses, in cars, or daycare vans will not have a change in dismissal.
