High School Registration Activities
It is that time of year again where we focus on preparing students to register for classes for the 2024-2025 school year. High School Registration activities will include:
- High school counselors visiting EMS and TMMS to work with 8th graders on registering for classes;
- The high school hosting 8th grade tours during the school day so that 8th graders can begin to learn about life at EHS;
- Presentations to current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders on the registration process;
- Plan Your Future Night on Thursday, February 29 that will include an orientation for incoming 9th grade students and families, an elective fair, breakout sessions on Advanced Placement, Running Start, and College-in-the-High-School classes, and a presentation on completing the Federal Student Aid Application (FAFSA)
- A College and Career Fair on March 1 where all EHS students can learn about a wide-range of post secondary options.

- TMMS and EMS 8th Graders visit EHS during the school day
Thursday, February 29, 2024
- Plan Your Future Night, EHS Commons, 6:30 PM
- EHS Elective Fair, EHS Gym, 7:00 PM
- Breakout Session A - 3 separate breakout options: AP/College in the High School classes, Participating in Running Start, Completing the FAFSA, 7:00 PM
- Breakout Session B - 3 separate breakout options: AP/College in the High School classes, Participating in Running Start, Completing the FAFSA, 7:30 PM
Friday, March 1, 2024
- EHS College and Career Fair, EHS Gym, 8:00 AM - Students will attend through their English classes.
March 11 - 15, 2024
- High School Registration Process Begins
- Students grades 9-11 register for their schedule in their English classes.
EHS College and Career Fair - Friday, March 1, 8:00 AM
Career Day will provide and opportunity for students to ask industry and education institutions a variety of questions to plan for their future career endeavors. Attendees include:
- Digi Pen University
- Job Corps
- Multicare Training Program
- WSU
- Cement Masons & Plasterers Local 528
- Renton Technical College
- Central Washington University
- Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee (AJAC)
