Monday

SEL Information will come to you Monday during your planning. Please plan to meet in our PLC assigned rooms at that time to hear from Tammy Bright, our district SEL Coordinator.

Wednesday

Wednesday, September 13th, is high attendance day! Please make sure that information goes home with students today. Papers will be in your boxes by lunch to send home. Build it up with your students. Calvary Baptist will be donating treats for students in attendance that day as well as our assembly at 1:30 PM. This will be our first school-wide assembly. Please teach students about expectations for this as well as the quiet hand signal. You can practice this with them in your classrooms.

We will make an announcement with it is time to report to the gym.

Friday

First Responders will be in the back parent loop from 9:00-11:00 AM. We will send you the schedule on Thursday for what time to bring your classes out that day. When you bring students out, please have them bring a card or pictures for the first responders as a thank you. There will be police officers, fire fighters, as well as EMS for them to meet and tour their vehicles.

A few reminders...

Monday is September 11th. Please take time to go over this with your students and discuss the importance first responders play in our lives.

We will be hosting a cross country meet and Mr. Murphy has added this to the athletic event sign-up. In addition to gate workers, we will need at least six people to help us run this event. All the money will go back to our general athletics to support our students and extracurriculars! Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
