Plan your child's future by attending the Columbus City Schools Transition Fair. This event is an opportunity for families and students with IEPs and 504 plans to learn about tips, tools, strategies, and information to assist with life changes as students move through PreK/ elementary to middle school to high school and beyond.

Guest speakers talking about tools to help plan an IEP, Medicaid Waiver services community resources, and strategies to support student through school

Latino Heritage Month Parade and Festival - Sept. 14th
Join Columbus City Schools students, teachers, staff, District leaders, community partners, and our friends, family, alumni, and allies as we march through Downtown Columbus as part of the 2024 Latino Heritage Month Parade.

* Anyone under 18 must have parent/guardian permission and must be accompanied by an adult.
Parade Route: The parade will start at the corner of Civic Center Dr. and E. Rich St. It will proceed east down E. Rich St., make a left on S. High St., and continue north towards W. Broad St. The parade will then make a left on W. Broad St. and conclude at W. Broad St. and Marconi Blvd., right at the Council City Plaza where the festival will take place. Be sure to check the Parade Route Map for exact details and the best viewing locations.

19th Annual Father's Walk - Sept. 19th
The 19th Annual Fathers Walk will be Thursday September 19, 2024 across the State of Ohio.
Fathers and other male mentors are encouraged to be involved in their child(ren)s education on this date and throughout the school year! Please support the thousands of fathers, uncles, grandfathers, stepfathers, foster fathers, brothers and mentors that step up to support the education of children in their lives.

Host a Foreign Exchange Student for the 2025-2026 School Year!
You can make an American Dream come true!
Aspect Foundation is looking for families of all shapes and sizes to host a foreign exchange student for the 2025-2026 school year. Aspect students hail from nearly 50 countries around the globe, but share a common dream - to live and learn the American way of life with a family like yours!
If your family is not able to host, but you know of another interested family, please refer them to contact your local coordinator, Cassandra Lewis - anyone who refers a family who ends up hosting will receive a referral bonus of $200!
