Pathways Express is coming your way!
Columbus is the largest city in Ohio, and it’s the capital of our state. Many of the conversations and decisions that could ultimately impact students today, and in the future, are made at 1 Capitol Square - The Ohio Statehouse.
Since its opening to legislators and the public in 1857, the Statehouse has witnessed Ohio’s most historic voting decisions. In addition to state leaders, more than 500,000 visitors tour Capitol Square each year. Throughout the month of February, CCS students and families are invited to add their names to the growing guestbook.
In addition to weekend tours, CCS families are also encouraged to join us for our Family & Community Resource Day on Saturday, February 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Stay tuned for more details!
iReady, get set, go...
Ohio Avenue Elementary has a goal for 100% of our families to schedule a time to meet with their student's teacher and Principal Williams after Winter break. This will be a time to see what your student is doing and learn how you may be able to support them. Ms. Brown will be contacting you in the coming weeks with additional information and ways to schedule this meeting. Should you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact Ms. Brown at (614) 285-4696.

Safely busing more than 38,000 students in Columbus each day to school and back home is a priority for the Columbus City Schools Transportation team. The combined impacts of a national shortage of bus drivers and a routing software misstep created an unprecedented challenge to our transportation reliability. That’s why we are implementing unprecedented measures to improve our transportation reliability moving forward.
How do I find my student's new bus route?
Please refer to your student's updated transportation information in Infinite Campus in the Parent Portal. Should you need additional information about the Parent Portal, please call (614) 221-3228.
What to do if your students misses or leaves something on the bus?
The parent/guardian should immediately call the Transportation Department at 614-365-5074.
