Red Ribbon Week!
Good afternoon,
I hope that you have had an enjoyable weekend and are ready for the week ahead. We are now in Quarter 2, and there are several events planned that will surely make this quarter quite fun!
One of our first events will be next week--Red Ribbon Week! The students have planned many fun and informative spirit days to honor being drug free. A few of the spirit days include "Dress down" days; please remember the following:
- shirts and tops must be fit and be school appropriate;
- jeans may be any color or patters, but they may not have any holes or tears;
- clothing may not have inappropriate language on it, and should not disrupt the learning environment.
We look forward to the awesome Red Ribbon Week events! Thank you to the Junior Civitans, Beta Club and Student Council for planning it! Please see the flyer HERE.
For academics, tutoring will begin next week in the Media Center after school from 3:45 to 5:00. Immediately after school, students should report to the Auditorium to wait for pick up by Ms. Obregon. Students will then move to the Media Center for tutoring. Parents should arrive in the car loop to pick up the students no later than 5:00 pm.
In other news, our school district is working on our next Strategic Plan and Accreditation Process. Your input is needed on the Family Survey. Please help us with our journey to continuously improve our services for our students and families. All parents or guardians of the school district can complete this survey. The survey is located in Parent Portal. Instructions for accessing Parent Portal is below.
Thank you!
Have a great rest of your weekend, and we will see everyone on Marvelou Monday!
