College App Completion ARC Drop-in

Seniors, I know that many of you have college application deadlines approaching (November 1 being the most popular). We are opening up the ARC from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12. We will have plenty of snacks and will be able to answer quick questions while you work on your applications.
College Essay Review Appointments with VHHS English Teachers
Appointments required. Twenty minute time slots available between 9-12 PM.
On DARING Day, Wednesday, October 12th, there will be English teachers available to meet with you and review your college essays in the UC. In order to meet with a teacher you will need to sign-up for a 20 minute time slot. You will be asked to share the link to your essay in the sign-up form.
Job Fair in Foyer from 12:00-12:30pm
Interested in finding a part-time job? We have an event for YOU! VHHS is hosting an informal Job Fair on DARING day. Plan to stop by the foyer on Wednesday, October 12th between noon and 12:30 p.m. to meet Vernon Hills businesses currently looking to hire high school students. Look for posters in the cafeteria and foyer for more information on who’s going to be there and then come ready to dazzle your future employer on October 12th.
