Principal's Message
Dear Mulino Families,
Welcome back. I hope you all had a wonderful Spring Break full of fun and adventure. On a personal note, during the last week, I had the opportunity to get married to an incredible man and enjoy some beautiful Hawaii sunshine.
Thank you for getting your kids to school each and every day. As we head into the final months of school things will get very busy for Mulino students. We have a lot of fun things planned!
We are looking forward to a great week,
Principal Hall
Swimming Lessons
Our 5th graders will begin swimming today, April 3-14th. Please ensure your student has a swimsuit that fits and they feel comfortable wearing and a towel.
Kindergarten Round Up
Families and students of incoming kindergarteners are encouraged to attend this in-person event to learn more about kindergarten at Mulino. This will also be an opportunity for families to access our online registration tool.
If you are unable to make this event, please register your child, online, beginning April 14.
Employment Opportunities with MRSD
Mulino Parent Group
Hello Mulino Families!
Attention Mulino parents,
Two things. Carnival is coming up, and the parent group board has open positions.
Carnival is on April 14th, and we need your help! Carnival is a free event for Mulino families hosted by your parent group. There will be 11 games, food, and Kona Ice. We need volunteers to help at each of our games. Please reach out if you can help!
At our next board meeting, on April 19, we will be discussing positions for the next school year. All positions are available and need to be filled for the parent group to continue. Previous board members are here to help, but we need new parents.
If we do not fill positions, unfortunately, the patent group will have to be dissolved.
What does that mean for your kids?
No field trips.
No Carnival.
No OMSI.
No student store.
No field day.
No 5th-grade celebration.
No outdoor play equipment.
No 4th-grade swim lessons.
No BINGO night.
No Santa shop.
No added classroom supplies.
No added funds for the library.
No added funds for music.
No staff appreciation week.
No yearbook.
No Mulino swag.
Your current board is happy to help with a new board. The more help we can get, the less work for each person. If you are considering helping, or have any questions, please reach out.
Thank you,
Mulino Parent Group
