Welcome back to school!

Principals Message
We at Mossdale School are eager to open our doors for another great school year! I am confident that students, staff, and families will continue to work together to make Mossdale a place where all students learn at a high level and are supported with individual needs in a safe environment. As always, Mossdale is a place Where The Making Of Success Stories Happens Daily!
Please read through the opening year edition of the Jaguar Journal for important information. The Jaguar Journal will be sent out monthly with important information. Students will also receive additional information the first week of school for your review.
I look forward to seeing our students this school year as they learn, grow, and succeed. Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything we can do to support your student in any way!

We continue to make minor adjustments to classes and teachers assigned. You will be able to view who your child's teacher is in Q Parent Connect on Tuesday, August 1st after 4:00pm.
Supervision of Students
Students are not permitted on the campus prior to 7:40. There is no supervision to ensure your child’s safety before this time.
Kindergarten students are met at the gates and dismissed by teachers until routines are in place. Parents may not accompany them to the classroom. We will continue to strictly enforce that parents do not enter the campus and walk students to classrooms (including the first day of school).
We will continue to use the Stop, Drop, and Go method for Arrival and Dismissal.
Parking Lot
All parents must adhere to the directions and procedures of the parking lot. This is to ensure the safety of all students and the smooth operation of the school campus. Common sense and caution is required to keep everyone safe. We need to be diligent in keeping the flow of traffic smooth, promoting timely arrival and pick up times, and limiting the need for extensive numbers of school site assistants on the exterior of the campus - allowing additional coverage of students in the interior of the campus.
Please be patient with us the first few weeks of school as we adjust to the new school year!
**See map below for arrival information**
Student/Parent Handbook
We have revamped and revised our Student/Parent Handbook!
Please be sure to review it carefully as it contains all school policies, procedures and practices regarding attendance, discipline and various other items. A hard copy will be sent home the first day of school, all students are required to return the signature pages at the end to their teacher by Wednesday, August 9.
