Principal's Message:
Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a restful break. Before the break, we had several events that are important to acknowledge.
Thank you to our community senior group for taking the time to work with students on baking and icing Christmas cookies, all of the students enjoyed this time.
The Christmas concert was a big success, and everyone involved did amazing work! We also owe a thank you to our Parent Fundraising group for ensuring we had the right sound equipment in place for the concert and also to the Grovedale Fire Department for all of the goodie bags!
On December 22nd we had Nate from the Underground Basketball Academy come to our school and do a clinic with our basketball team, what a great experience!
As we are experiencing colder weather, please ensure students are being sent with the proper clothing and remind them of the importance of wearing it. We would also like to remind families to keep home students who are experiencing cold/flu symptoms, as this is important in helping not spread symptoms throughout the school.
Important reminder: If your child normally rides the bus and will not be on a particular day, please call the office (780-532-6390) or email sherrysmith@pwpsd.ca to let us know.
