We Missed Swimming!
It's Time For Open Water Adventures!
Our First Group Open Water Swim is Sun. May 31
Greenville Splash will be doing our first group open water swim at Lake Jocasssee this Sunday May 31. Arrive at 8:30 and be ready to be in the water by 9:00. Make sure to practice social distancing. Lol...I won't even try to get a group picture, this will probably make many swimmers happy!
We meet at Devil's Fork State Park Pavillion in front of Eclectic Sun Kayak Rentals.
Please RSVP if you plan to come: greenvillesplash@gmail.com.
We will do a picnic afterwards. Bring sandwiches and an item to share if you wish.
We do require safe swimmer floats, if you don't have one, we have extras you can borrow. You must be registered with USMS (United States Masters Swimming). If you are not, you can fill out a 30 day free trial membership.
If the water is too cold for swimming, you can always rent a kayak. We love to have kayak support!
It's A Greenville Splash Wedding!
Congratulations to Hayley and Jeremy Wilson!

Splashing Accomplishments
Splashtacular
Kudos to Nicole Ramsbey for becoming a marathon swimmer! Nicole trained all winter and spring long to train for a big event to Swim Around Lido Key. She found out that the event was canceled due to Covid-19. But that didn't stop her. She kept training and building her endurance while swimming in cold water in local lakes since pools were closed. She then went and swam the 7 miles in Siesta Key over Memorial Day weekend with her kayaker. Way to go Nicole! You are amazing for being so dedicated and committed to fulfilling your dream of being a marathon swimmer and achieving such a difficult feat. Your persistence paid off!
Winner Winner Soup Can Dinner! We want to extend a big shout out to our Soup Can Champions!

You all win a year supply of soup! Just kidding....Coach Leslie has a special prize to give you as soon as we see you again.
Congratulations to Hayley and Jeremy Davis on their recent zoom wedding in Carolyn's backyard! We are so happy you could keep your original wedding date and get to do it again in August with your whole family. Best wishes for a happy life together.

Make a Difference
Thank you so much to all of our swimmers that volunteer for Greenville Splash! Your efforts help to make our community safer in the water and provide fitness and competition activities for swimmers. We host three big events every year: The South Carolina LCM State Championships, The Upstate Splash Charity Open Water Swim, and Adult Learn to Swim. We have taught over 215 adults how to swim! The Upstate Splash has raised money to provide swim lessons for over 2,000 children! We are proud to be a team that gives back to our community!
