If you failed with a grade of 69 -50 in one of your core subjects, you are eligible for Credit Recovery through Grade Results. Successful completion of the course will enable you to earn a grade of 70 for the failed grade. Students who meet the criteria will receive an email with instructions for access and completing course in Grade Results.

This is not recommended for student athletes who are considering sports in college. Credit Recovery does not meet NCAA and NAIA eligibility requirements. Student athletes will have access to other platforms to recover a failed credit.

Make sure you stay on track for on time graduation. You will receive .5 credits for all classes you passed semester 1. At the end of the school year, you must earn 5 credits along with passing English I to be classified as a 10th grade student for the 2022-2023 school year.

Weekly Covid-19 testing will begin the week of January 17, 2022. Overton's testing day and time will be every Thursday from 9:00am to 11:30am. These dates are posted on the OHS Website along with the link to provide consent. This schedule will remain in effect until the end of the 2021-2022 school year.

Black Health and Wellness is this year's theme for Black History Month, "Black Health and Wellness", focuses on the importance of Black Health and Wellness. This theme acknowledges the legacy of not only Black scholars and Medical practitioners in Western medicine, but also other ways of knowing (e.g., birthworkers, doulas, midwives, naturopath, herbalists, etc.)
