STUDENT PERSONAL DEVICE USAGE REMINDER!
LPS announced in November that the district would begin restricting the use of students' personal devices on our school network at the start of the new year. However, in order to better assist students with the transition during the pandemic surge and to develop additional training materials for them, this change was delayed until February 28.
Please note that students will no longer be able to use their personal devices on the district network effective Monday, February 28th.
We encourage students to use their school-issued device for the remainder of this week to get used to this change. Please visit the help desk if you are having any technical difficulties and put in a helpdesk ticket request for assistance.

LPS EQUITY TEAMS
AFFINITY GROUP SIGN-UP:
The LPS Equity Team has been working with the LPS community to create "affinity groups." Affinity groups are defined as “a group of people sharing a common interest or goal, or acting together for a specific purpose.” At this time, members of our school community and equity teams have made specific requests for an LGBTQIA+ group, an AAPI group, and a BIPOC group. We welcome additional affinity groups as part of our work in equity, inclusion, and anti-racism.These groups, which will meet approximately three times per year, will serve as an advisory group to the District Equity Team by offering their experiences, their voices, their interest in collaborating with us and their resources. To indicate your interest in participating in one of our affinity groups, please add your name and contact information to one of the forms that can be found HERE. Should additional Affinity Groups be requested, we will include sign-up information in the Spotlight newsletter and on the district website.
If you have a suggestion or a desire to partner with the district equity team in creating any additional affinity groups, please contact Lisa Steiger at lsteiger@livingston.org or your building principal.
IN-DISTRICT COVID-19 TESTING
COVID-19 testing is available to LPS staff, students and families every Tuesday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. The District is partnering with BacktoWork Solutions for the testing. Click here to register for a quick Telemed Evaluation. Following the Telemed Evaluation you will be invited to schedule your COVID test, which takes place at the Riker Hill Media Center.
