An Overview of LCAP
Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)
The LCAP is intended to be a three-year plan to improve student achievement by setting annual goals for the district in eight priority areas. Each of the priorities has established data requirements to track district progress in improving student achievement. The 2023-24 school year will be the third year of the current three-year plan.
Goal 1: Academic Success for All Students
Each student will be provided high-quality learning and enriching, hands-on experiences through a broad course of study and full implementation of the California State Standards.

- Hire additional Intervention Teachers to support students in grades 3-6 (Actions 2 & 3)
- Provide Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Programs at all school sites (Actions 4 & 10)
- Expand instrumental music instruction in 7th and 8th grade (Action 6)
Goal 2: English Learner, Foster Youth, and Special Education/English Learner Success
Each specially identified learner will become English proficient and academically successful.

Each student will be provided a safe, well-maintained, and socially-emotionally supportive learning environment through a multi-tiered system of supports.
