PRINCIPAL PENOYER'S WEEKLY MESSAGE
Good morning, Patriot Families,
Liberty Intermediate Field Day will be held on Tuesday, February 13th. If Coach doesn't have at least 10 volunteers, the Field Day will be cancelled and events will be held during PE classes. Kindergarten Roundup is on Monday, February 12th at 5pm. Please share this information with neighbors, friends and families! Kindergarten and New Students for the 24-25 School Year: The Governing Board is voting on school closures and boundary changes at tonight's meeting. If approved, we are expecting a large influx of students into Liberty. Please be sure to register your incoming student as soon as you can to ensure your space! Here is the online information for enrollment.
Fridays are Spirit Days at Liberty! Wear your favorite Liberty shirt or red, white and blue tomorrow. Classes with the most monthly participation earn a prize from the Student Council!

Our annual Kindergarten Roundup has been scheduled for Monday, February 12th at 5pm. SPRING STATE TESTING SCHEDULE
We have created the schedule for our annual state assessments, AZSci and AASA. Please add these to your calendars and try to avoid scheduling appointments, vacations, etc. during these days. These are required assessments, so if your child misses, they will need to be pulled from class to attend make-up sessions. Thank you!

VOLUNTEER AND OPEN POSITIONS

STARS STUDENTS
I am happy to announce our STARS students this week who were nominated by classroom teachers. These students have been doing a great job following STARS expectations of being Safe, Trustworthy, Accountable, Respectful or Supportive.
In Mrs. Dold’s Kindergarten, Aaron. Aaron always arrives at school with a smile on his face and his enthusiastic laugh. He shows STARS expectations in everything he does and is always a good friend to all of his classmates and someone Mrs. Dold can always count on to be a helper. You are a STAR, Aaron, Mrs. Dold is so proud of you!
In Mrs. Smith’s First Grade, Haze. Haze is working hard in class, focusing on his assignments. Way to be accountable, Haze! Keep up the hard work!
In Mrs. Hamerski’s Second Grade, Noah B. Noah plays safely on the playground and uses the equipment properly. He also plays respectfully with his friends and includes others. Keep up the great effort, Noah!
In Ms. Hendren’s Third Grade, Carter P. Carter is very kind to peers, he completes his assignments and follows classroom expectations. Keep shining like a star, Carter!
In Mrs. Torda’s Fourth Grade, Lincoln. Lincoln is respectful at lunch by cleaning up after himself in the cafeteria. He always uses an inside voice and helps out when needed. Lincoln is a shining star!
In Ms. Korte's Fourth Grade, Alyvia. Alyvia shows respect for both her peers and her teachers. She is a hard worker and is kind to everyone around her. Great job, Liv!
In Mrs. Best’s Fifth Grade, Liane. Liane follows classroom expectations by being on task and engaged in her classwork. Liane sets a great example for her peers! Keep up the amazing work, Liane!
In Ms. Etchells’s Sixth Grade, Scarlett. Scarlett shows accountability by choosing a seat in the classroom to do her best work. She strives for success! Way to shine, Scarlett!
