We have been BLESSED (again) here at Pinelands United Methodist Church. God is with us and he is moving us to give HOPE, PEACE, JOY and LOVE all year long to those that need it! Each year our little CHURCH nestled among the PINES is given a GIFT. A gift to SHARE among our NEIGHBORS, to the families that might be struggling or have had some MISFORTUNE during the year. Watching the MULLICA and NEIGHBORING communities come together to grant CHRISTMAS WISHES is nothing less than GOD's HAND giving GRACE. The MISSION is ALWAYS the same: SMILING children on CHRISTMAS MORNING, less stress for struggling FAMILIES (if only for a MOMENT), the GIFT of HOPE, PEACE, JOY and LOVE, and a sense of COMMUNITY.
So many gifts were COLLECTED and ENTRUSTED to PINELANDS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH to fill wishes of the local children! The COMMUNITY went above and beyond to make sure there was an ABUNDANCE to GIVE. The CHRISTMAS ELVES worked late into the night packing all of that HOPE, PEACE, JOY and LOVE into FAMILY GIFT BAGS that were distributed on FRIDAY!
It takes a VILLAGE! Let us thank our VILLAGE... to our PRESENT PARTNERS / GIFT GIVERS / WISH FILLERS...the work you've done here this CHRISTMAS SEASON is nothing short of AMAZING! THANK YOU! Thank you to the NJ STATE PARK POLICE, without whom, this MISSION would NEVER be WHAT it is (bigger and more amazing EVERY YEAR...did is it 22 years STRONG?) MULLICA TOWNSHIP SCHOOL GIVING TREE...the families, teachers, staff and administrators for "ADOPTING" children off the TREE and buying the PERSONAL WISH ITEMS and CLOTHING to give to those families in need. You are all so very GENEROUS and the CHILDREN are WATCHING (and LEARNING) the importance of GIVING! THANK YOU! MULLICA TOWNSHIP PTA and MULLICA TOWNSHIP MTEA for purchasing food, gift cards and shopping for the all of the EXTRAS and for always VOLUNTEERING to do more. The CARE is there and it's REFRESHING! Big big HEARTS! THANK YOU! PINE BARREN VENOM JEEP CLUB (located in MULLICA TOWNSHIP) your "STUFF THE JEEP" event is an ANCHOR to this WEEK of GIVING and it's SUCCESS! All those JEEPS stuffed with TOYS! Driving ALL THE WAY to MULLICA TOWNSHIP to DELIVER SMILES! Your SHOPPING TRIP of GIFTS! YOU, PBVJC, are so very important to this COMMUNITY and it does NOT go UNNOTICED. We see the GOOD you do CLEANING the BEACHES, PROVIDING for VETERANS and making sure our community KIDS have presents! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! BOONDOCKS MARKET and GRILL your "support and mission" through the years have PROVIDED so many BIKES to so so many Kids in our TOWN! Myself remembering EVERY one of my CHRISTMASES when there was a BIKE under that TREE! It makes a DIFFERENCE...thank you for MAKING that DIFFERENCE for so many! FARMER JOHN'S FOOD MARKET and NESCO LIQUOR STORE thank you for collecting and supporting the NJ STATE PARK POLICE in this endeavor each year. You get the WORD out! It's WHY we ALL love THIS community! SWEETWATER YACHT CLUB for collecting new TOYS and HAULING them over to us. It makes a difference in this town...thank you for ALWAYS thinking of us! The PRIVATE FAMILIES that reached out to GIVE the teens (who by the way are so very hard to figure out) GIFT CARDS, CASES of RAMAN NOODLES (very creative), soft fluffy BLANKETS, HYGIENE/LOTION kits, SOCKS, GLOVES and HATS. THANK YOU...great job and it's such a HELP filling the TEEN BAGS!! Last but definitely NOT LEAST! The ELVES...you know who you are... in the LAST two WEEKS you took up RESIDENCE in our LITTLE BATSTO CHURCH, day and night putting that NORTHPOLE workshop, SANTA'S workshop, to SHAME! You've HAULED boxes and bags, you've LIFTED and CARRIED, SORTED and STACKED...making a VISION POSSIBLE. You bagged and boxed, you PRAYED over each CHILD filling their bags with HOPES and DREAMS. Every bag filled with so much LOVE and INTENTION! You HELPED deliver, LOAD cars and HUG PARENTS! It's time to REST...THANK YOU good and FAITHFUL servants ALL OF YOU! FROM OUR HEART TO YOURS THANK YOU... A MILLION THANK YOUS!
