Our 2nd round of Communication Nights are coming up. Teachers will send out an email with links to sign up for a time. The first night will be Feb 29. The 2nd night was originally scheduled for Mar 5. Unfortunately, we have a scheduling conflict and have to move it to Mar 7. The district was just informed the MN Primary is scheduled for Mar 5 and by law, we can not have school events from 6-8 pm. that evening. Sorry for any confusion or confilcts this may present.

Students are schedule to go outside everyday for recess and extra recess. Indoor recess will be called around 10:30 a.m. if the air temperature is zero degrees or colder and/or the windchill is 10 below zero or colder. Please be sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. We have very limited access to extra clothing.

Mounds View High School is hosting its first annual Hmong New Year celebration. There will be music, food, and performances. Everyone is welcome!

Please save the date for the upcoming Middle School Transition Information Night at Highview Middle School. The event will be held on Feb 8 from 6-7 p.m.. On this evening you will have a chance to meet the 6th grade teachers, tour the building, and get a feel for what is to come for the middle school experience. Mark your calendars, we are excited to see you then!

At our next PTO meeting on Mon, Jan 22 at 6: 30 p.m., we will be hearing from the new dean Jason Hollett and learn about his role at Valentine Hills. Additionally, Valentine Hill's new school board rep Alissa Daire-Nelson will be in attendance. If you need childcare for that night, please let us know.

PTO Winter Fun Day!

The PTO would love to sponsor a Winter Fun Day - an evening or weekend day where we get together to celebrate Minnesota winter outdoors.
