Hello Falcons,

Welcome to September! We hope that have enjoyed the long weekend and are ready for all that Fall entails! I know that I, personally, am ready for Fall and cooler weather, but I also know that cooler weather is still a bit far away.

Parents, I hope you are staying informed with your team newsletters that are sent on Fridays. Please reach out to your team and/or grade level administrator to let them know if you have not received it. It is our goal to keep you informed!

Coming up this week, we have a dress down day on Wednesday, September 6 for students who have donated 3 uniform items. Also, we are proud to host the Rock Hill Symphony Orchestra in the Sullivan Auditorium on Saturday, September 9! Please go to https://rhsymphony.org/tickets for more information and tickets. As far as sports, Volleyball versus York on Wednesday at 5:00, and Football will challenge Oakridge at 5:15.

Thanks to Ms. Dawson and Ms. Lyons for making the Club Showcase a success at Open House!

Help us build up our clothes closet! Needs are for short sleeve polo shirts and pants/shorts, both girls and boys from XS to XL. Bring 3 items and get a dress down day September 6!

Please make sure that shorts are to your fingertips in length (4 inches above the top of the knee).

Dress Code for Dress Down Days

1. Shirts and tops must be school-appropriate and not revealing.
2. Jeans are allowed during dress down days. Jeans may be any color or pattern but must not have holes or tears in them of any kind.
3. Dress down clothing cannot have inappropriate writing on it, fit appropriately, and must not interrupt the safety of the learning environment.

The SIC invites you to attend ALL of their meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:30 in the library to get updates on the school and give input on goals revolving around the District’s goals.

The Sullivan Middle School SIC will participate in NAMIWalks! We have a goal of $100. You do not need to contribute to participate. Show up and show your support!

Kona Ice will be on campus Friday, September 29; Friday, October 27; Friday, March 15, Friday, April 26, and Friday, May 31!

Please remember that student supervision for Sullivan Middle School begins at 7:45. In addition, the car rider line for pick up begins at 2:45. Please park in the lot if you arrive before line-up time so that CPES can pick their students up first.
