Sycamore Community Schools is excited to announce the expansion of gifted services for the 2023 - 2024 school year. We invite you to join us on Thursday, May 25th, from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at Maple Dale Elementary. We will share information regarding gifted programming with families of rising third graders as well as answer your questions.
The Literati Book Fair was a big success!
Thank you to all of the teachers, students, volunteers, and families. Because of your enthusiasm and commitment, together we were able to introduce hundreds of new books to the students of Montgomery Elementary, helping them develop into lifelong learners and readers.
We raised over $3000 for our school! I will be using the profits from the sale to purchase new books for our library.
I am very proud of our school, especially of our library, at Montgomery Elementary. It is through fundraising efforts such as the Book Fair that we are able to stay current and diverse in our collection for kids.
Have a wonderful summer.
Sincerely, Mrs. Teresa Messer

The week of May 1st, Sycamore Schools and 1N5 invited you to participate in our #5daysofhealthyAVES. A spinoff from our staff challenge entitled #28daysofAVES, where we challenged our staff to take care of themselves, #5days challenged students and their families to engage in healthy activities outside of school. We hope you enjoyed it! Your feedback is valuable to us. We’d love to hear what you thought and how you engaged with #5daysofhealthyAVES. Share your thoughts with us here.
