Academy Spotlight: IBIT Academy

The Academy of International Baccalaureate and Informational Technology provides students with a place to develop skills in creativity, inquiry, and critical thinking. The combination of IB and IT courses provides one of the best assortments of demanding college preparatory and IT career related courses.

Students in the Academy of IB/IT can choose the following:

IT Career Pathways
IB Diploma Programme (full or partial)
Mixture of IB and IT Courses

Our teachers and staff will guide students through the process of selecting the most appropriate coursework for their needs.

Moreover, Computer Programming students were given the opportunity to work with Microsoft on cybersecurity solutions, as teams of students from all of our academy schools attended a full day session with trainers from their offices.

Academy Spotlight: MES Academy

Students who have a healing hand or want to protect and serve our community will find many suitable career options in the MES Academy. Society will always need healthcare and emergency services. Pathways in this academy include:

In this small learning community, students will interact with business partners from our very own community and develop skills that they can apply in any industry. Moreover, this academy utilizes partnerships with Eastside Technical Center and Southside Technical Center to provide students with even more opportunities to work with business partners and out in the community.

Last semester, the MES Academy sponsored a breakfast for students with outstanding grades and behavior (eos scores). The following business partners also attended the event:
