Please see the attached PDF to read how to log in, if you do not have your account information you will not be able to log in, however Mrs. Paul will be able to help you with that. Also attached is where to click to view your report card.
Again, thank you and if you have any questions, please let us know.
Happy Fall - October 31st
In trying to have some fall spirit, we are allowing kids to come to school on October 31st dressed in a festive way. They will not be changing into their costumes, character etc at school. They need to come in costume or character. Below are guidelines for different options. Kids do not need to participate if they do not want to, however we wanted to provide lots of options.
Options are:
Halloween Costume (NO: face paint/ full face makeup, blood, weapons or masks)
Favorite character from a book (no face paint, blood, weapons or masks)
Colors of the day : Orange/Black
Classrooms will not be having parties or parades. Some are planning fall instructional activities and permitting snacks to be sent in. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions.

Safety Week
Safety Week
We are going to have our first safety week of the year. Our teachers will be discussing and demonstrating, various scenarios with students. Each day will be a different scenario. The discussions will help students to make decisions based on where they are located when an alarm is sounded or an announcement is made and how do they respond.
An example, if you are in the cafeteria and the fire alarm sounds, where would you go and what would you do? We practice various drills throughout the school year.
Safety is a top priority and we understand the importance of practicing and debriefing to ensure we have a safe learning environment for everyone within our school and on our school grounds.
Youtube Kids vs Regular Youtube
Important information for grownups about YouTube Kids
YouTube Kids was built from the ground up to be a fun, family-friendly place for kids and families. The YouTube Kids app includes both popular children's videos and diverse new content, delivered in a way that's easy to use for children of any age.
- Youtube Kids is a downloadable app for the tablet or phone.
- The parents can create an account for each of their kids.
- It filters the content to make sure it is appropriate (it's not perfect but certainly better than no filter at all)
- There is also a timer they can set so the kids aren't using it for too long.
Before your child gets started, there are a few things we want to make sure you understand:
Outdoor Recess Guidelines and Shorts
As the weather starts to turn colder, please make sure your child has the proper clothing to go outside. We will go outside when it is cold and snowing. Our guidelines for cold temperatures will be followed and monitored closely. The temperature for outdoor recess is 20 degrees with the windchill.
Please make sure student have appropriate gear to be in the elements. Winter coats, gloves, hats are important. Students should have hats, gloves, winter coats, boots if it is snowing.
Shorts
Shorts are not permitted from the end of the 1st quarter until the start of the 4th quarter. This is in our student handbook under dress code (guidelines #15).Parent Teacher Partnership
