Wow, it is already September! Students and staff are settling into our routines and procedures at school. The Bulldog Bark newsletter will be published on a bi-weekly basis to provide updates and information to our families. Please feel free to reach out to your teachers and our office staff if you have questions about anything.

We have a new permanent nurse at TBall! Nurse Alyssa Castillo begins training in the district next week and will soon be working to train at TBall as well. (Nurse Laura has moved on from her permanent position in the district).

Extra curricular clubs are starting up for the year. We'll make announcements to students and include information in Parent Square. We held tryouts for spell bowl for 4th and 5th grade students this week. Next week, students in grades 2-4 can pick up an application if they are interested in joining the Kindness Club.

We are working on parental access to viewing information in Buzz. For the time being, please have your student log into Buzz to show you current grades and progress.

NEW ENTRANCE for 2023-24

Families will use the Preschool Entrance for Latch Key drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. The door will be marked with a sign. It is on the East Side of the building.

Construction has begun on our playgrounds! We have two that are being installed, one behind the pre-school addition and one on the former playground! We hope to be able to use it in the coming weeks!

Our Cafeteria Kitchen is also moving along quickly! We'll share more information as we get closer to transitioning back to hot meals. For BIRTHDAY TREATS, due to the current kitchen construction, we are offering chips instead of ice cream for birthday treats in the cafeteria. If you want to purchase chips for your child's class for a birthday treat, please send the order form and money in a week in advance.

As our district-wide capital improvement projects continue, Timothy Ball Elementary will temporarily serve only cold lunches. Our food services team remains committed to providing healthy meals that meet all requirements of the federal school lunch guidelines. We will keep you updated on the progress of our new kitchen and the timeline for returning to the traditional lunch menu. Thanks for your understanding as we build new opportunities to better serve our students.
