We are heading into our final week before winter break. With that being said, we have some fun stuff and important announcements you won't want to miss including details on our high school teachers and office staff returning to their classrooms next week.
This week's background features students working on their Hour of Code as part of our district wide celebration, some of the K-8 staff as we celebrate Mrs. Maeda's Birthday, and the Hot Cocoa Bar at the high school room 28.
As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or compliments, please reach out to Mr. Fineberg, our principal, at efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us.

Principal's Message...
I am excited to announce that are high school staff and office staff will be returning to our regular locations effective Wednesday. Mrs. Desrosiers and Ms. Sabella will return to their regular classrooms in P26 and P25 respectively. Mrs. Wijnhamer, Mrs. Alpay, and Mrs. Griego will return to our offices at the high school site in Room P27 as well. A big thank you to all our students and staff for their flexibility as we hosted Legacy Magnet Academy high school students.
Additionally, as we head into our final week before break, this is an ideal time to remind students and families about the Tustin Connect High School and TK-8 Expectations that were a part of your Master Agreement Meetings. Both are linked above. The goal of initially presenting the Expectations as well as revisiting now is to set students up for success and provide a reminder about the behaviors that set students up to be successful Mavericks.
A few of the critical expectations that all families from TK-12 is to keep in mind the critical role families have with their student's education. Providing a quiet place to study, an accountability partner, making sure students come to campus for classes, and monitoring student work are all crucial pieces to your child's academic puzzle. We are also here to help. So please reach out and let us support your efforts at home.
Lastly, there's still time to support 5th grade TC student Isaiah in his efforts to help the UCI NICU. Isaiah wanted to share, "Since it is the season of giving, I am organizing a book drive for the NICU department at the UCI hospital. If you would like to participate there is a box in the office where you can drop the board books off or please follow this link. All board books will be donated by December 22nd.
As always, if you have any questions, compliments, ideas, and/or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out at (714) 430-2052 ext. 52103 or efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us. Have a great weekend.
Have a fantastic weekend.
