Update District Contacts

If you would like to update any TexQuest contacts (Primary, Librarian, Curriculum, Accounting, and Technology) for your district, visit District Contact Updates and complete the form for those contacts that have changed. If you do not know the TexQuest contacts on file for your district, email TexQuest Support and we will be happy to provide the information.

EBSCO Password Update

As a reminder, the annual EBSCO Password update is no longer in effect for participating TexQuest districts. The password change applied to EBSCO eBooks, which was removed from TexQuest on 9/30/22. Visit the Newsletter outlining resource changes for information. LearningExpress is the only EBSCO resource currently available in TexQuest, and it does not require a district password, rather each student and faculty member must create his/her own individual account.

Britannica Early Education launched in early June and has been placed in the Elementary Navigator page. This new product contains lower Lexiled content for our younger elementary students. It offers a safe, age-appropriate, educational environment to inspire the next generation of scholars.

Don't forget to visit the Britannica Provider Support page, Britannica Education, to access webinars, product guides, and our personal favorite, the asset library with a wide variety of graphic organizers in fillable PDF format.

Oops! They did it again! LearningExpress has continued to add or update several items within their product. To stay up-to-date on what's new, simply login to LearningExpress, then select "What's New" from the top left hand corner of the landing page.

Addition of AWS Training Center

Gale Literature Resource Center has been enhanced to provide topic pages focused on Works and Literary Topics/Themes, a refreshed home page with a monthly rotation of featured works and topics, and a new browsing experience to find content by broad topical categories. Visit the Gale Blog for more information and to register for an upcoming webinar.

Gale Support has added a new page titled, Browse by K12 Subject, where educators will find activity templates, supporting materials like scavenger hunts, webinars, lessons, graphic organizers and more for English Language Arts, Science and Social Studies, SEL/DEI resources, and professional development tools. This new page can easily be found by visiting the Gale Support page, under the Training Center tab.

Infobase Learn360 has added Topic Centers that put specially selected, ready-to-use K-12 supplemental content at your fingertips. You will find a curated collection of videos, interactives, audio, and printables for all of your favorite topics in one spot. It's a one stop shop! Visit the Infobase Blog for more information.

Feel like singing along to Snoop Dogg? Doggyland titles have been added to Learn360! Doggyland is an animated series created by Snoop Dogg designed to support emotional well-being. Make sure and visit for some positive affirmations.

The staff at ProQuest has also been busy adding new content!

• 21 nonfiction book titles were added from publishers such as Lerner, Enslow, and Oxford University Press on topics such as Earth Day, Explorers, and Women in Technology.
• 100 new biographies were added for a total of 405 famous people biographies. Visit for biographies of many famous Texans such as Selena, Ann Richards, and Lady Bird Johnson.

Not only does TeachingBooks continuously add new resources to support literature we are already using in our libraries and classrooms, but they have recently added more content to their Teaching Ideas portion such as;

• Timely topics for Back to School, Hispanic Heritage, National Dance Day and more!
• Ready-to-use ideas for Classic Novels Reimagined, Interactive Spaces and Activities, and Writing Ideas

TexQuest is a statewide digital resources program that provides anytime, anywhere access to high quality, authoritative digital resources to all educators, students, and students' immediate families in Texas K-12 public schools and open enrollment charter schools. Supported, in part, by appropriations from the Texas State Legislature, Texas districts pay a small per student participation fee to gain access to TexQuest resources from the providers listed on this page.

The Texas State Library and Archives Commission administers all aspects of the TexQuest program and is responsible for the selection and coordination of all TexQuest resources, as well as district invoicing.

Education Service Center, Region 20 serves as the TexQuest Support Center and is responsible for help desk, technical assistance, outreach, communication, and training to support the program.
