• Read-A-Palooza: Parents, guardians and community members are invited to come in to our school the week of March 4-8 to help us celebrate Read Across America Week! • Summer Sports Academies: SMCPS and SMC R&P have partnered to offer the new Summer Sports Academies. Campers will be instructed by area high school coaches. Camps are held Monday -Thursday. Click below for more information. Registration begins March 1st. Don't miss this opportunity.

For those children attending after school clubs at GKES, we ask for your help to ensure all children get where they need to be after school and during pick up after the program has concluded for the day.

We are asking parents/guardians to let the program lead or the Main Office know of any changes to transportation or if your child no longer is attending the Club. We appreciate your support and help in keeping our children safe.

We had a visit from Pinch and the Blue Crabs organization on Friday! Each student will receive a bookmark where they will read and record 4 books. Please have your child submit their completed bookmark to Mrs. Dantuono and she will return it to your child closer to the game on May 17th. . Happy Reading! If your child does not get a bookmark, please reach out to the Main Office if you are interested.
