OSS Participates in the 27th Annual Sunday at the Park
This past weekend we celebrated the 27th annual Sunday at the Park! This event is held every year at the start of the spring, celebrating the good weather! It was a nice sunny day in which kids and parents from all around the college park area came together had fun with some carnival food, bounce houses and concerts. Our students were there showcasing their knowledge of STEM. They performed demos such as wine glass harmonics and instant snow! The students highlighted our school's accomplishments this year, even convincing other parents to send their students here. It was a huge success and loads of fun! I even almost fell off the centripetal disc we have showcasing angular momentum. We hope to see you there next year.

Orlando Science Middle High Home Visits
Dear OSS Parents and Guardians ,
We like to find ways to communicate with parents to support our mutual involvement in your child’s education. As part of OSS tradition, we are organizing home visits as a way to reach out to our families and get to know them better. We would like to set up a time for a few of your students teachers to have a brief 20-30 minute home visit. Home visits are an effective way to establish positive contact and communication with families. They are not a replacement for parent-teacher conferences, but are a process through which teachers demonstrate their support for students’ families by visiting the home environment where the family feels comfortable. Home visits originate from a sincere desire to assist and work with families. We will be glad to visit you and your child at a convenient time. If you would like to host a home visit, please select one of the days below. We will be organizing quarterly home visits. If you are not available during first quarter, you always can choose a day later on in the school year. We look forward to visiting you!
Sincerely, Orlando Science Schools Teachers and Staff
