Message from Miss Angela
As you can see from the long list of important events this month, October is a busy month. This month we are kicking off field trips. Field trips have long been recognized as an essential part of the educational experience. They provide our students with unique opportunities to explore, discover, and learn beyond the confines of the classroom walls. These outings offer a multitude of benefits that extend far beyond textbooks and traditional lessons.
Our commitment to providing enriching field trip experiences remains steadfast. We understand that field trips are not just a fun day out; they are an essential part of a well-rounded education that equips our students with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to succeed in life.
As we move forward, we will continue to work diligently to ensure that field trips are not only educational but also safe, inclusive, and accessible to all our students. We appreciate your ongoing support, involvement, and trust in our educational approach.
Please stay tuned for updates on upcoming field trips, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or suggestions. We are excited about the educational journeys that lie ahead for our students, and we look forward to embarking on these adventures together.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education, and here's to the exciting and enriching field trips that await them.
Wednesday, PINK OUT Day
All students are invited to participate in our Annual Pink Out activities this Wednesday. Students may come to school decked out in as much pink as possible and make a minimum $2 donation to Michelle's Place. Student will attend the flag football games in the afternoon and have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for prizes.
Thursday, October 5th: Hoe Down Traffic Alert
As a reminder, our kindergarten through second grade families have a special event on Thursday afternoon beginning at 5:00 p.m. If you'd like to avoid congestion in the parking lot, we suggest an early pickup that day.
Morning Drop-Off Location
If you drop students off before 7:30 a.m., please park and enter gates B or C. The gymnasium is used for middle school volleyball practice from 6:45 to 7:30 a.m.
Afternoon Pick-Up
Today we kicked-off middle school flag football season with a home game. Our teams will have games on Mondays and Wednesday until mid October. The games are at 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. We have asked the visiting schools to park on the street and at the church next door. Please be aware that there could be increased traffic in the parking lot on those days. Also, watch for pedestrians.
