Picture Day
Picture Day at Violet will be on Wednesday, September 20th. Jostens will be taking pictures of ALL students.
- Parents will be able to preview their student's picture online 3-4 days after picture day
- Order photos online at https://shop.jostenspix.com/login and Violet's Event Code FE185723
- Parents can buy only what they want and personalize photos with a variety of backgrounds
- Photos will ship directly to your home
- If you have more than one student, you can order everything together
- NOTE: Green Screen technology will be used when your student is photographed so PLEASE DON'T HAVE THEM WEAR GREEN FOR PICTURE DAY. (green clothing will disappear into the background)

Pick up Patrol
Today you have received a welcome email from Pick up Patrol. Please check your email and follow the instruction within the email. We will begin using it NEXT THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 14TH

Helping Hands Donations
Last year, our second grade team organized a "Helping Hands" donation drive to provide items for children that are currently undergoing treatment at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Thank you to the families that donated on behalf of Violet Elementary. This haul will be delivered this week on behalf of Violet.

Hope Bag Application
Each week the H.O.P.E. Packs Program offers a weekend bag of food for children who meet one of the following requirements: a) if your child has received a H.O.P.E. Pack in the past, (b) has been eligible for free or reduced lunch, or (c) your household income is low.
The food is intended to be kid-friendly, easy to prepare, and supply supplemental food over the weekend. The bags are not to be opened until your child gets home.

Reminder that paper/cash orders are due to the school Wednesday Sept. 13th. Online orders due by midnight Friday Sept. 15th. Flower delivery will be Monday Sept. 25th from 5-7pm.
