FREE Tutoring
Our educational partners at GCU have a great program to help students achieve educational success. As part of their community outreach efforts, the GCU Learning Lounge® is proud to offer free in-person and online tutoring to kindergarten through 12th grade students (2nd-12th grade Online). Whether it’s a deep dive or quick question, they strive to support a variety of academic needs at the elementary, middle and high school levels for both Spanish and English speakers, at no cost to the students or families. Volunteering
An excellent way for you to stay involved and informed about your child’s school experience is to participate in our Volunteer Program. You can complete the online or in-person training with DSE. Parents volunteering for any school function, must complete the training. You are required to update your paperwork each year. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. Your child’s safety is our number one priority. You can complete the paperwork Volunteer - Litchfield Elementary School District and you can email: dsevolunteer@lesd.k12.az.us to sign up for a training.
Once approved, all volunteer opportunities must be coordinated with the classroom teacher or supervising staff member. The staff member will communicate with the office to let them know how/when they will be utilizing your support.
* All paperwork must be submitted to prior to your training.
** When emailing the dsevolunteer@lesd.k12.az.us, please indicate if you will be joining IN PERSON or VIRTUAL.
*** ALL paperwork and requests will accepted up to 24 hours prior to each training date.

Resources for Parents
Beginning in Augustm DSE Parents will have access to 1:1 Parent Coaching. This entails One-on-one video calls with a mental health coach and 24 hour messaging with a mental health coach.
What is Coaching?
Coaches are like your virtual parenting assistant. Working together, you have support to help your child thrive. Our coaches have the expertise to walk you through even the toughest parenting challenges. “Coaches can provide the education, consistency, structure and accountability parents need and want.” More information to follow.
There will be 3 Mental Health Sessions in September, November and January. We will be covering topics on anxiety in children, emotional regulation and the effects of screen time.

The purpose of the Dreaming Summit Site Council is to ensure that varied stakeholders are provided an opportunity to share input and feedback on the decision making process and receive updates on progress towards school goals. Administration, staff, parents, and community members will provide input and feedback regarding decisions concerning the school goals, undesignated tax credit donations, and supporting school climate. Litchfield Elementary School District will make the Instructional decisions that align with our state standards and our school and district goals.
