Students work on projects for the Chamber Art Show held at the Palisades center in March. The theme for this year is "poTENtial".
Under the leadership of Mrs. LoSardo, seventh grade students learn how a bill becomes a law. Students work in groups to propose a bill which they feel will help solve situations relevant to themselves and their community.
In certain classes throughout the school, students work on puzzles to celebrate National Puzzle Day. Scientists have discovered that when we work on a jigsaw puzzle, we utilize both sides of the brain, improving memory, cognitive function and problem solving skills in the process. By utilizing puzzles, people can stimulate the brain to improve a number of skills.
During a faculty meeting, teachers create and divide pie charts into minute chunks, representing what a 42 or 55 minute period portrays in their classroom. Teachers then share helpful strategies and best practices with their colleagues pertaining to their respective classrooms.
