Septmeber 10, 2023 - Week Four
A Note From the Office
Concord Families,
We just completed our first full week of school and many routines and systems are starting to run pretty smooth. Many of you may have noticed that our dismissal process is getting wrapped up around 3:45 pm. (What a celebration). We are also excited to share that our buses seem to be arrive on a pretty regular schedule. We closed out last week with all students being on their bus and off campus by 4 pm. While we have some room to improve, we are really happy with how things are going.
Classroom teachers have begun sending out communication regarding grade level curriculum and details regarding your child's classroom this year. All families should be looped in my the end of the week! Please reach out to the teacher with questions!

Building Access: Arrival and Dismissal
Concord Families,
The first weeks of school are behind us now. Students have learned routines and are building independence. Moving forward, I want to remind families that students should be dropped off at the front doors. Students should have no problem walking to their classroom from here on out. This expectation supports student independence. If a student seems unsure of what direction to travel, we have several adults ready to serve!
If you find yourself having a reason to enter the building, please access the front office. We are ready to greet you and support your needs. This also allows us to give each visitor a temporary badge to wear while he/she is in the building. So in short, we ask that all visitors, parents included, visit the office before traveling the halls of Concord to visit the nurse or teacher (etc).
Concord Collections: Student Showcase
We are excited to share that we will be featuring student collections in our Concord lobby display cases! Student collections can showcase anything from Lego figures, to books, to craft creations... the possibilities are endless! We hope this builds some community and fosters student belonging. If your child is interested, click the Student Showcase form for more details and to apply!
