Wow! Beach families and friends are generous! Our students have been so enthusiastic about the Step it Up Fundraiser, and the results are amazing! We have surpassed our fundraising goals. Thank you so very much for all you've done to support this program. I hope our students have tremendous fun on the Day of Awesomeness on October 22nd.

Mr. Softee will be coming after school every Tuesday as a fundraiser for our PTA! Come out and enjoy!

Our amazing school counselor, Stacy Hixon, will be leading the Positive Parenting Program on the Thursday nights of October 4th, 11th and 18th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Child care will be provided, if needed.

Family Movie Night on Friday, October 5th has been cancelled. Thank you!

On Wednesday, October 10th at 7:30 a.m. students and families are invited to meet at the park at the north end of Sunset Drive to participate in Walk and Bike to School Day. Please come join us for this enjoyable community experience!

Good attendance is crucial to a child's success in school. If a child is not present, it is difficult for them to make up the subjects that were missed. Please be sure your child is at school each day unless they are sick. It is also important that your child is on time each day, as it is disruptive when they come to school late. Often they have missed important morning routines, and it is difficult for them to get back on track. Please make every effort to get to school on time. Saturday Attendance Academies are offered approximately once monthly as a way for students to make up one absence. This month it will be on October 13th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Invitations will be sent home if your child has had an absence.
