We are excited that everything is moving along nicely now! If there are still concerns, please don't hesitate to contact the main office to share your thoughts.
Monday is Labor Day Holiday and there is no school.
Tuesday is Picture Day! We asked students to wear their best smiles on Tuesday!
Girls on the Run has open registration this fall! Girls in grades third and up are welcome to register and participate to attend! A great 5K event will be held on the morning of Dec. 2! Sponsorships are available and fees can be as low as $25. Please register your child if you are interested and we can check on the amount for your family afterward. See the flyer attached or on our facebook page for interest.
Safety Corner:
- Please remember each time you visit the school, you will need an ID to check in. Badges from a business or even in district badges, do not provide entry for personal visits.
- We also kindly remind students to remove hats and hoodies off their heads inside the building.
- We encourage all families to monitor proper usage of cell phones and technology devices. Cell phones are not allowed to be powered on or visibly out during the school day. Please be aware that we do not allow video recording and sharing of videos/photos of students and staff.
Our first PTO and SIC (School Improvement Council) meeting will be Monday, September 18 at 5:30. We love for all of our families to be involved and partner with HGSE! We will meet in our media center.
