STUDENTS

If you would like to register for the ASVAB test, please email me by the end of the day 2/8.
Access my advising request link to schedule a meeting with me to go over your current credits.
To enroll in the next semester of a course or into the next grade level, please ask the subject teacher to put you on the course request sheet.
Electives are being assigned, and all students will be enrolled by Mon, Feb. 12th.
All dual credit and foreign language grades can now be seen on report cards and transcripts.
The last day to withdraw from college classes without academic penalty is April 8th.
Summer dual credit class registration opens March 3rd
Fall 24 dual credit class registration opens April 10th

Students in STAAR EOC tested subjects (Alg 1, Bio, Eng 1, Eng 2, US Hist) are being added to their respective STAAR subject prep course in Bright Thinker. Your teacher will let you know how to proceed in these classes.

In order to take a STAAR EOC exam in April, students must be 90% complete with their course (in unit 10 at least) one week prior to the test date as well as have completed STAAR enrichment to be eligible. See the testing dates for each exam below:

PARENTS

Students who are behind will be invited to come to summer school. Please look out for more information coming toward the end of this semester.
CTE courses and Spanish MUST be completed by the end of the semester. Students who have not completed these courses will have to restart the course in a future semester. Zeroes will be input for Spanish tests that were not taken within the semester and the final average is added to the student's transcript.
To check your student's progress in Bright Thinker, have them login and review the job aid (linked here) that will guide you in viewing their grades.
