Coyote Connection

Happy Friday Twin Oaks Community. We had a great start to our 2023-2024 school year! Thank you to all who were able to attend their student's Back to School Meet and Greet. It was wonderful to meet so many of you! Thank you also for your patience with our drop-off and pick-up procedures. It has improved each and every day. I was able to go into each and every one of our classrooms this week as well as spend time with our students out at the lunch tables and playground. My best days are always when I'm able to see the great teaching and learning happening at our school. Thank you for trusting us with your Coyote each and every day. We love having them. Have a great Friday and wonderful weekend.

Did you know? Five elementary schools in SMUSD have expanded school bus service thanks to new State funding.

Joli Ann Leichtag Elementary, La Mirada Academy, Paloma Elementary School, San Marcos Elementary & Twin Oaks Elementary students all have the opportunity to ride the bus to school!

Twin Oaks Elementary is in the process of migrating district and school communication from School Messenger to ParentSquare. Twin Oaks has also been using Class Dojo. Until we have all families registered with ParentSquare, we will be using Class Dojo as well. This will at times cause you to receive communication more than once. We would rather err on the side of too much communication than none. Thank you for your understanding.

Coyotes will receive all the necessary school supplies they need to be successful this year. If you are so inclined to donate supplies or materials to your Coyote's classroom, teachers will have a wish list but again, it is NOT mandatory in any way.
