Attendance Matters

Please be mindful of school start and dismissal times. Arriving on time is critical to your child's education. While we understand things happen from time to time, being chronically tardy and/or being chronically absent (missing 10% or more of school days) makes a significant impact on your child's education. Students with significant attendance concerns will be receiving an attendance letter or request for a meeting from the school.

For security reasons some grade level doors may close a few minutes early. Please know if this happens students can simply use the front door entrance. We greatly appreciate your help in making it a wonderful school year.

We are in need

Students who get dirty/muddy or have an "accident" often borrow clean clothes from our health room. We are always in need of gently used boys pants (in various sizes - especially sizes for our kindergarten and first graders)

King Basketball Night @ Coronado

King Elementary School is invited to the Coronado Girls Basketball Team on Friday February 9, 2024. Join Mrs. Krueger in cheering on the Coronado Cougars!

Invite from Rudy Elementary: Mental Health Night - Friday, February 16th

Please make plans to join us for our first ever Mental Health Night at Rudy Elementary on Friday, February 16th from 5:30-7:30! Dinner as well as childcare (for children out of diapers and up to 5th grade) will be provided that evening. You can choose to keep your school-age child with you if you want them to listen to the speakers. Please see the attached flyer for details. There is a registration QR Code on the flyer and the link is in this message below. You MUST register for the evening by February 5th, as we will be providing food and childcare and need to know what to plan for. If you have any questions, please call us at 719-328-7600.
