October is Antibullying Month!

Dear Parents,

This month we will be focusing on different topics each week of October.

October 2-6: What is bullying?

October 10-13: How can I be an upstander and not a bystander?

October 16-20: What are ways that I can include those around me?

October 23-27: Standing up to Bullying and Committing to Kindness!

We will be learning how to identify bullying and how to stop it from happening to you or the friends around you. We want to encourage our parents to ask their children about what they are learning over the next four weeks. You can also check out this website for parent resources.

APEX is Coming to West Wing School!

🗓️ Save the date! Our school is about to embark on a Powerful journey with our @apexleadershipcompany KG-6th grade obstacle course and 7th-8th grade Color Games fundraiser on Tuesday, Oct. 10th for Campus Improvements: Classroom furniture, shade structures, outdoor furniture, playground equipment, and special program funding. Stay tuned for more info on how to support us.

8th Grade Social Studies

Mr. Kasnot's classroom received all new desks and chairs this week! We are excited for our students to experience a more accommodating desk that also allows our teachers to move desks around for collaborative learning activities!

Mr. Kindler's math classroom also received brand new desks and chairs! The additional space and unique design of our new desks allow our students to work more effectively. At West Wing we continue to make campus improvements that impact our students' experience and impact our teachers ability to provide dynamic learning opportunities!
