The ARTiculation Workshop is available in two formats:
- As a quick guide and kit ($12 today) for the edtech experienced
- As a full workshop ($45) with detailed directions, kit, and extra resources perfect for beginners hosted by Grassroots Workshops (which includes PD hours or grad credit for an extra fee.)

This asynchronous self-paced workshop gives you everything you need to learn how to engage your students in a stop-motion animation technique that uses art to teach communication, animation, and phonics while having fun. It covers speaking, listening, decoding, and tech integration standards found at every grade level.
This workshop is perfect for K-12 general education, STEAM, Creative Arts, Tech or integration into any curricular area to engage students in a creative way to communicate what they know.
- No art experience necessary
- Need an iOS device with iMotion & Keynote (free apps)
- (web-based stop motion using iPevo Visualizer + doc camera assembled in canva is detailed in the full workshop version only)
Tricia Fuglestad
Tricia Fuglestad, K-5 art teacher, author, artist, NBCT, K-12 tech integration, has successfully blended digital and physical art making with her transdigital lessons to help students find transformative ways to dynamically demonstrate learning. Tricia’s classroom is featured in educational publications and textbooks. Her students’ Fugleflicks, student-created, art-related videos screened at international film festivals and won national awards. She’s been recognized by NAEA, IAEA, Golden Apple, PBS, Artsonia, ISTE, and named 2023 K-12 IT influencer.
