Volume 3 Issue 30
What an exciting week we had with some rain on Monday and our FSU Meeting on Growth Mindset and PTA meetings on Wednesday. Our 5th and 7th graders started their Physical Fitness Testing as our high schoolers kicked off their 4th quarter classes with some awesome chemistry labs and a clean slate of grades. This week's background features our very own Katherine Kim who competed as part of Team USA where she earned a Bronze medal in Junior Individual Foil, Gold in Cadet Individual Foil, and Gold in Junior Team Foil at the 2022 Junior and Cadet Pan American Zonal Championships in Peru. As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or compliments, please reach out to Mr. Fineberg, our principal, at efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us.
Principal's Message...
We are certainly full steam ahead as we look to successfully wrap up the 2021-22 school year. Along those lines, please take a few moments to confirm your intentions for the 2022/23 school year. This quick survey will insure that your student attends the correct school in the fall. Remember that the options are to attend your school of residence or TC next year. If you'd like to attend a school other than TC or your school of residence, a transfer is required and can be found on the TUSD website.
I also wanted to extend a personal thank you to our PTA and the wonderful community of parents that work selflessly to bring so much to our school. At this week's meeting they voted to create a coffee/tea station for our high schools to encourage them to come in person, virtual field trip, teacher grants and extended the budgets for our end of year celebrations for the 5th, 8th, and 12th graders as well as plans for an EOY Movie Night and Teacher/Staff Appreciation week. They are such an important part of our school and we appreciate them and all of your support. TC is certainly a family affair!
As always, if you have any questions, compliments, ideas, and/or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out at (714) 430-2052 ext. 52103 or efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us.
