FAQ for Promotion
Can I get more tickets?
Possibly, this depends on whether or not extra tickets are turned in. We are asking that any extra tickets be returned to homeroom teachers, so we can redistribute to those who ask for extras.
Will grades K-4 be present at the promotion ceremony? The lower grades will not be in attendance, if you wish for a younger sibling to be there you will need to use one of your four tickets for them.
Can I take my child after the ceremony? Absolutely! Go out, have lunch, relax, enjoy the day, and your child’s accomplishments. Please sign your child out with their homeroom teacher.
After promotion, is there school the rest of the week for 5th graders? Although formal instruction is over, June 14th - June 16th are school days.
There will be so many people, where can I park? You can park in the Sherwood E.S. parking lot as long as there is room. Guests can also park across the street at the church. Please do not park in the bus lane or at the vet - you will be towed!
