Student Part-Time Job Opportunity: Armstrong Tax Office
We are looking to hire a student for part time work beginning sometime this month to perform copy work, filing, and other administrative tasks. We are a very busy tax firm with one office in Stayton, and another in Salem.. The position I am hiring for is in Stayton.
Skills include:
- Ability to communicate in person with staff and on the telephone
- Copy work
- Great attention to detail
- Writing skills when preparing tax file folders and input sheets
- Work independently after given instructions
- Take direction from myself and our Administrative Assistant
- Answering phones and taking messages
- Ability to operate in fast paced environment
This job could easily turn into a permanent position, part time, to begin with, but develop into a long term permanent position.
We also offer our employees the opportunity to study for and take the tax preparers' exam to become a licensed tax preparer. There are several levels of tax preparer licensing. The highest level requires college. When/if they pass the testing, they will be reimbursed for all costs and will become a permanent employee of the firm.
