Welcome:
CEO Note
If you’re bidding in the Friends of the Library Silent Auction, remember that the auction closes on
Saturday, December 2, at noon. The Friends of the Library raise funds for things that aren’t covered by the library’s regular budget, so we hope you will support them in any way you can.
It’s a low-key month in the library, as your library staff are dealing with things like budget hearings,
inventory, and all manner of year-end business. We do have a couple of events this month, including
Winter Wonderland, that you should attend before you head out of town or welcome family for the
holidays.
Please note that we have holiday closures on Saturday, December 23, Monday, December 25, and
Monday, January 1. We will also close the library at 6 PM instead of 8 PM on December 27 and 28.
We’re headed into the season of unpredictable weather. If we need to close the library due to
inclement weather, we do our best to post any information on our website and social media,
in addition to updating the library's voicemail. If you’re ever in doubt about whether or not we’re open, just give us a call.
From all of your library staff and board members, we wish you a wonderful holiday season.
Amie P.
Library CEO
