Class of '93 Honors Mr. Soper
The Class of 1993 recently had a reunion and decided to honor their Vice Principal Mr. John Soper. Check out the following article to see what they did with the money they raised.
PreACT Exam Coming Up
exam is being held on Saturday, March 9th here at Thomas. The cost is $18.00 and registration forms are available in the counseling center or at the link below.
Teen Police Academy
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is holding their teen police academy this summer. This is a free week-long camp that consists of physical training, classroom instruction and reality-based training. Applications are available in the counseling center.
Common App For Junior Awards
Attention Juniors: The common application for junior college awards is now available in the counseling center. This application contains awards and scholarship money to colleges such as RIT, U of R, Clarskson and other area colleges. Pick up your application in the counseling center. Applications are due back by March 22nd.
Interested in SUNY Geneseo?
Attention Juniors: The counseling department is taking a field trip to SUNY Geneseo on Monday, March 18th The visit includes a presentation, tour of the campus and lunch. Pick up your permission slip in the counseling center. Spots are limited.
Take the ASVAB
The ASVAB exam is a multi aptitude exam for high school students that helps align your skills with your interests. This exam may help you explore future career goals. This is a free exam that is open to anyone in grades 10 through 12. The exam is on Saturday, March 16th at 9:00am here at Thomas. Pick up your registration form in the counseling center.

2024 Rochester Polar Plunge is Sunday February 4th!
Several staff members have accepted the challenge of taking an icy “jump in the lake” to support Special Olympics New York!

The THS/OWL vs SHS/GOAL Staff Charity Basketball game is Wednesday March 6 5-9PM in the THS gym! Be on the look-out for more information! Students will be needed to compete in the halftime activities: cup stacking, tricycle racing, free throws, balloon popping & Webster trivia! Watch for the sign-up!

Please take your returnables to Can Kings located at 1183 Bay Road in Webster! Label your container with: Thomas PTSA & hand it to the attendants!
BRAVO cards will be available at all musical events again this year! Write a special note for your performer which will be specially delivered to them in school!

Cheerleading
The Cheer team competed twice last weekend. On Saturday at the Canandaigua Invitational the team took 2nd overall and had one of the 3 highest scores of the day. On Sunday at the Eastridge invitational they scored in the top six of the day and took first place in their division. This weekend the team will compete at the Victor invitational.
Indoor Track
The Titans competed at RIT last weekend.Malia S had a 11 second personal best in her mile run and 4 seconds off her 1000m. Jada K placed 2nd in the 55 hurdles and Leia S ran a personal best in her hurdle race. Sam L shaved off 2 seconds on his 300 time. Patrick K finished 2nd in the 2 mile. Sam M ran a personal best in his 55 hurdles and open 55m race. Henry N placed 3rd in the 1000m and took 6 seconds off of his time. RIley L and Jackson W PR'd in their 600m races. Jane C won the shot put and placed 2nd in weight throw. Grace O had a 1 foot personal best in her long jump
Boys Basketball
The Thomas Titans Boys Basketball team split their two contests this week. On Monday, the boys lost a hard-fought game to Schroeder 50-46. Chase F. played a strong game with 9 points and a number of assists. On Wednesday the Titans bounced back to defeat Irondequoit 55-47. Levi K led the way with 18 points and Sean Q chipped in with 15. The boys return to the court for senior night this Friday against Rush-Henrietta with a 7:15pm tip.
Girls Basketball
The Girls hosted Mendon Tuesday evening. They lost a tough one
Wrestling
The Titans head into individual Sectionals this weekend at Fairport.
Boys Swimming
The Lakers will compete this weekend in Class A Sectionals at the WAC
Boys Hockey
The Titans picked up another win Tuesday evening over Brighton/HFL 3-1. Titans got on the board first with a goal by Lucas N. assisted by Teddy P and Cole B. The Titans scored to go up 2-1 on a goal by Jackson B. Sam N scored the 3rd Titan goal with an assist from Lucas N. Mike N faced 15 shots only allowing 1 goal on the night.
The Titans traveled Thursday to Scottsville to make up for an earlier postponed game. They lost to Churchville Chili 4-2. Cater C and Nate S had the goals,
Girls Hockey
The Lakers traveled to Brighton Arena in Buffalo Tuesday evening to face Frontier/Lakeshore/Orchard Park (FLOP) They held a 3-0 lead after the first period. Goals were scored by Sami C Harper B and Jess N. FLOP continued to pressure and scored 5 unanswered including one empty netter. The Lakers lost 5-3.
