The 1st 6 week session is under way. If you would like your child to be enrolled for the next session please read below and click the link.
The program is based on the principle that understanding and regulating emotions are central to effective problem-solving. PATHS is a prevention and intervention program that targets five major conceptual domains: (1) self-control; (2) emotional understanding; (3) positive self-esteem; (4) relationships; and (5) interpersonal problem-solving skills.
Please understand that this is not a requirement. It is offered to all 3rd-5th graders upon parental consent to participate.
Students participating in this program will meet on Friday's during WIN time, Friday Specials block.

School Counseling Needs Assessment
Please take a moment to complete the school counseling needs assessment linked below. This information will be used to assist our school counselors in developing their small and large group counseling sessions this semester.
October Event
Buddies Not Bullies, is a bullying prevention presentation developed by Coastal Horizons RCC Prevention Staff to educate students, parents, and community members on the common types, impacts, and prevention of bullying. We also review how to respond to bullying and harassment for a well-rounded conversation that is both informative and inclusive.

As you can see, we have only had 1 week in the EXCELLENT attendance category. Absences from school have a tremendous impact on student achievement. Let's get that percentage up this week! 🙂
