Despite still not being at full strength, Parkview's Cross Country team had a great performance at the Providence Invite at historic McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, NC over the weekend of the 26th. Across the 30+ teams in two varsity divisions, the boys were 8th while the girls were 11th. Kaleb Tesfaye notched a second consecutive top 10 finish, taking 8th overall. Abel Bizu also earned a medal with a 19th place finish. The duo of Anna Woods and Jordan Seymour led the ladies as both continue to improve. The JV squads were led by Nico Castoneda and Absra Demissie. The team is off this weekend and competes again on September 9th at the Big Peach Stampede.

The first home game of the season was against Shiloh HS. Parkview pulled off a 60-0 win over the Generals. The Varsity Panthers Play again at home on September 8th against North Gwinnett.

August 26 the girls varsity split the day with an 8-0 win over Marist in the first game and fell to them (2-3) in the second game.

On August 24, the Parkview varsity softball team won their home conference game against Newton HS by a score of 9-0 on August 24.

Parkview High School is pleased to partner with StreetWise, a local nonprofit organization, to give 250 boxes of non-perishable food items to the families of the Parkview Cluster Schools.

One food box will be provided per vehicle. Food boxes will be given out on a first come first serve basis.

Do you need help in math? Peer tutoring will be every Tuesday and Thursday before and after school in Mrs. Maske and Mrs. Alessi's rooms in upper E/F building. Come if you need any extra help in math.
