Principal's Message
Friday September 16th
The weather certainly turned around after a pretty dreary start on Monday and we were able to go outside and enjoy the sunshine and have a fun, outdoor recess-filled rest of the week.
We had a shelter-in-place drill which is used in the event of a weather emergency and our second fire drill. As always, the students behaved impeccably.
We have had another busy week of MAP testing and the students handled it all so well! Results will be emailed home on September 23rd.
Thanks for another great week!

PATTON PAGES BOOK
Mrs. Vignocchi and I are extremely excited to share about the Patton Pages book that is new this year. We have a very special blank book that has been purchased for the sole purpose of recognizing students who go above and beyond in demonstrating The Big 3 - Be Safe, Be Kind, and Be Ready. We are often impressed by the many things our students do, and we want to celebrate the students who are so deserving of this recognition. Students must be identified by a staff member in order to be invited to come to the office to sign the Patton Pages. We will send home a certificate with them after they have signed the Patton Pages so they can share this special recognition with you.
SAFETY DRILLS
We had 2 more incredibly successful drills this week! A "Shelter in Place" drill and another "Fire Drill". Our Panthers followed instructions well and I was so proud of how calm and quiet they were. We have one more Fire Drill coming up on Oct 6th. The Arlington Heights Fire Department will be present for this drill.
BUYING LUNCH AT SCHOOL
Here is a helpful link should you need more information regarding adding money to school lunch accounts. All students will need a MyMealtime account (you can sign your child up here ) You can pay for meals via the MyMealtime site or app (which can be downloaded using the QR codes below) or check. Checks should be made payable to Arlington Heights School District 25.
Make-A-Wish Donation
We are delighted to announce that our wonderful Patton Panthers raised a whopping $8,645.64 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois this past school year, through a combination of student council run "theme days" and the Annual Patton Walkathon! I cannot thank you all enough for your generosity of both spirit and funds.
