Canvas: Working with Modules

Canvas Modules are an organizational tool that help instructors structure course content by day, week, unit, topic, or outcome. Modules help simplify student navigation through a course and ensure a sequential flow of content. With modules, instructors can require interaction with content before completing assignments.

How to change the Course Home Page

How to show recent announcements on your Home page.

The syllabus pages shows a table-oriented view of the course schedule. You can add comments, notes, policies, textbooks or other items you choose to add.

• You can link a hard-copy file (learn more how to insert links to course content)
• If inserting a file link, consider the file to auto-open for inline preview (how to auto-open or inline preview)
• If you prefer not to display your syllabus in the course navigation...You can hide it.

Your videos will automatically be swept into My Media in Canvas.

Use your Sandbox Course (Your personal space to create) to explore student view. You will see a purple frame will appear around the content. View a course as a test student.
