School Based Health Centers Presentation

Dr. Saelens updated the Board on our partnership with Choptank Community Health and the progress of the centers at Sudlersville Middle, Sudlersville Elementary, and Church Hill Elementary Schools. Projected opening is late August, 2022.

Policy 241, Meal Charges/Unpaid Meal Balances

Julie Hickey presented Policy 241 for a second read. This policy will be presented for adoption at the August 17, 2022 Board Work Session.

Policy 104, Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest

Dr. Matthew Kibler presented Policy 104 for a second read. This policy will be presented for adoption at the September 7, 2022 Board Meeting.

BOARD ACTION ITEMS

The Board, Dr. Saelens, and Ms. Krystal Chambers welcomed Mr. Matthew Moore, new Assistant Principal at Centreville Middle School. Mr. Moore has been an educator for sixteen years and most recently a history teacher at Sudlersville Middle School.

Ratification of Collective Bargaining Agreement - A&S

The Board approved and ratified that Collective Bargaining Agreement between the QACPS Administrators and Supervisors Association and the Board of Education of QACPS effective August 4, 2022 through June 30, 2024.
