SURRARRER STUDENTS TURN LEMONADE STAND PROFITS INTO DONATION TO LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER
Shout out to Surrarrer students, Sophia and Sam Garritano, for their recent act of kindness. The sister and brother team ran a lemonade stand in their neighborhood over the summer. They decided to turn their profits into a donation to the Animal Rescue Friends (ARF), a non-profit animal shelter in Columbia Station. The duo donated blankets, toys, and more than $300 cash to ARF - well done Sophia and Sam! HERE is a recent FOX 8 story about their efforts.
FOOD SERVICES - WEEKLY MEAL DISTRIBUTION
During Remote Learning 2.0, breakfast and lunch is still available for families in our District. Each Monday, an email will be sent for the upcoming week. Families can choose either a Wednesday pickup (for Thursday and Friday meals) and/or a Friday pickup (for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday meals). Meal pickups will occur at your student’s school.
